A block of rooms have been reserved at several hotels near the Tampa Convention Center to accommodate Energy Exchange attendees. Rates are set at government per diem for government employees, and are offered at reduced rates for government contractors and the private sector. Government per diem rates are extended only to those attendees with a valid government or national lab ID.
In Tampa there are a variety of ways to get around from ride sharing and taxis to shuttles and a streetcar. With stops near many city attractions as well as the Tampa Convention Center, the Tampa Streetcar is a convenient way to move about the city. On the first day of the show, Monday 8/14, discounted tickets for the Streetcard will be available at the Convention Center.
